Bellringer:
1. Pull up your Star-Spangled Banner assignment
2. Finish the typing and database assignments
3. On page 237, type the first paragraph about Argentina.

3.5 Publisher-Format Postcard

Guided Lesson:
Thursday- Finish missing work then Play Ribbon Hero for a prize
You may listen to music if you bring your earbuds and a phone or ipod
AND are finished with ALL of your work
You may NOT stream from computer.
You may bring non-messy food to eat.

Finish typing and database assignments.

Computer Classes in 8th Grade or High School
High School- MSITA Word/PowerPoint or MSITA Excel/Access
8th Grade- CSA Part 2- emphasis on Database and Publisher
7th Grade- CSA Part 1- emphasis on PowerPoint, Word and Spreadsheets

You have the choice of either doing the Publisher Holiday Postcard assignment
OR retaking the Digital Literacy Certification test.  

Miss W will show class how to open assignment with links and how to pull up the postcard template in Publisher

Choose to create a Publisher postcard for either

·         Martin Luther King Jr.
·         Inauguration Day
·         George Washington
.         Abraham Lincoln

The Postcard must have:

·         The Name of the holiday

·         What day it is

·         Why it is celebrated

·         What famous people are involved with the holiday

·         A clip art image or a Google image with citation

·         Creativity!!!

Independent Activity:
1. Finish typing and database assignments
2. You have the choice of either doing the Publisher Holiday Postcard assignment OR retaking the Digital Literacy Certification test.
3. Empty your folder and give items you do not want to Miss W
4. Once Postcard or DL test is complete Coolmath!!!    :)
