Wednesday, March 11th- 7th Grade- Spreadsheets- What if analysis

Bellringer:
1. Open your Typing file and on page 32 type lines 9 and 10.            
    Use your right INDEX finger for the U  key exercise.
2. On page 32 type line 14.            
    Use your left LITTLE finger for the LEFT shift  key exercise.
3. Pull out your Career worksheet
    if you do not have the Career WORKSHEET finished
    Click on http://www.careeroutlook.us/table.php?state=NC&cluster=sci&interest=all
     and choose 6 careers from the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math page.

What are we learning?
4.1 Know the components of Spreadsheets
Bring back signed Interim Reports by Wednesday for 100.  last day for 100

Guided Lesson- What if Analysis:
* Open Spreadsheet Vocabulary PowerPoint and go to slide 10
* Students will open an new Excel file and type the 4 formulas on the green paper.
* Students will practice What if Analysis by changing the values in B7 and C7.
* Miss W. will explain the dream car spreadsheet activity.
 
Independent Activity: If time: Car lot exercise-  
1*Students will gather data to create a spreadsheet of dream cars that they would have in their own car lot business.
2*Students will go to http://www.carmax.com and find 3 cars and write the information (year, make(brand), model(name), miles, and price) on their worksheet.
