Thursday, Sept 13 Continue Project- Special Effects

Bell Ringer
1. Open up your MRI (messes make some moms mad) Word document
2. Look at the picture on the top of page 56 to see which fingers to use for the ? key and the Cap Lock key.
3. On page 56 and type line 6 & page 57 type line 10 & on page 57 type line 14.

What are we learning today?

10 Step Procedure for developing a PowerPoint presentation
Goal:
You should be finished adding the "word" content to all slides. 9 slides with citing sources under pictures and quotes. 10 slides if you use a bibliography. You may have more slides if you wish.
Today's goal is to add pictures and special effects. To start to practice and make revisions.


Guided Practice:
@ Miss W will review how to insert an audio clipart
@Miss W will review the correct finger placement for keys.
@ Miss W will model the 10 steps to use to develop a PowerPointpresentation.
@ Miss W will explain the PowerPoint Project rubrics (what skills (knowing how to make your PowerPoint look cool) need to be demonstrated on the PowerPoint-pink sheet. It is very important that you put the skill number in the notes pane or you will receive a 0 for that skill)) and (what content (the important part- the message) and design (thinking about how everything goes together to get your message communicated) need to be demonstrated on the PowerPoint- green sheet)


Independent Exercise:
@ Students will continue working on their PowerPoint presentation.
