Literacy/Vocabulary Strategies (Word Wall)
Data markers are the blue squares on the blue line. They are used to indicate data values(numbers).
Tick marks are the little gray marks on the x axis and the y axis. They clarify the numbers.
The plot area is white. The plot area is the background.
New word: The red numbers are Data Labels, they are used to explain the data.

On page 37, type lines 05 and 06.
Remember to use your thumb for the space bar.
We are using our right PINKY finger for the  apostrophe  key.

@Students will complete the first page and the second page of the  CHART COMPONENTS NOTES   
@ Candy challenge questions for the “Label the Chart Parts” section

Homework:
Students need to decide for which ACADEMIC topic
(Typing Posture/Technique, Language Arts, Science,
Social Studies, or Math) they will create a
PowerPoint presentation soon. We will be using the
PowerPoint you create to learn different old and new
features of PowerPoint 2010.
