Bellringer:
1. Make up any number pad exercises 1-8 you are missing

You must have 98% or higher accuracy.
2. Open your typing book to page 363   
    and type the FIRST top 2 SENTENCES in the
    paragraph with the title
    "Identify Spreadsheet Parts"

4.2 Creation and Formatting of Spreadsheets
4.3 Know spreadsheet operations

Guided Lesson: 

Students will open the payroll file and
by using functions
find the following information:

the maximum hourly rate

the minimum hourly rate

the sum of the hourly rates

the average of the hourly rates. 

Independent Activity:
Students may work in groups to complete the Spreadsheet Ribbon worksheet

Work in groups of 2 or 3
