Bellringer:
1. On page 4, type the bottom paragraph that begins
"The Space Bar, located at the bottom..."
2. In the Database folder, open the Importing Text Files file.
TEST this Wednesday: 20 test questions from previous tests and 5 new questions.

Guided Lesson:
@ Miss W will show students how to import data to a database
by saving as a plain text file. Name your Database Class.
@ Remember to save as a plain text file, NO spaces between the commas.
@ We will be using the External Data Tab (Ribbon).
@ In the Import and Link group, we will be clicking on the Text File button.
@ Students will need to Rename the fields, either by going to Design view
or using the menu option.
@ Open and Save the School Information file to your lunch number.
Independent Exercise:
@ Name your database and table SCHOOLS
@ Name, Ownership, Type, Enrollment, InState, OutofState
are your field names.
@ Every field is text except InState, and OutofState they are currency.
@ If you do it correctly you will not need to type dollar signs.
@ If you make a mistake on the field names or type, go to the Design view to correct it.
