Thursday, May 22nd- 7th Grade- Creating a Study Guide and Analyzing Test Results

Bellringer:
1. On page 6, type the red triangle bullets that begin:
  •   Use correct fingers. 
2. Get a pen or pencil out

4.0 Spreadsheet Basics and Formulas
4.1 Know the components of Spreadsheets
4.2 Creation and Formatting of Spreadsheets
4.3 Know spreadsheet operations

 
Guided Lesson:
@ Miss W will explain how to create the study guide and how to do the review analysis.

@ Miss W will demonstrate adding a section and a comment to a PowerPoint.
     These were the 2 most common mistakes on the About Me Project.

Guided Lesson:
Microsoft Excel 2010 Data Validation
@ Open the Data validation file
@ The Green class tab has the name of classes
@ The Yellow period tab has the daily periods listed
@ On the Yellow tab we are going to where A1 is and we are going to call it Periods.
@ On the Green tab we are going to highlight B1:B7
@ Go to the Data Ribbon Tab
@ Click on Data Validation

@ Click the drop down arrow and choose List
@ Where it says source type =Periods
@ Click OK
@ Choose different periods for your classes

Independent Exercise:
@ Students will write out the questions they missed and the complete correct answers.

@ Students will determine which topic they need to study the most
     and list their order on

@ Write the function definition, use and examples of
List, Validated and Non-validated on your worksheet
