Guided Lesson:
All Students will go online and review their progress
by checking their grades for at least this class
@ Miss W will explain the critique or review process for the Educational PowerPoint candy challenge. Each day, students will vote on which PowerPoint they think has the best design. For you to win candy, you MUST BE SPECIFIC AND GIVE DETAILS.
An example of a bad review: I liked it.
An example of a good review: The contrasting colors made it stand out, I liked the fade out animations. I really learned about weather when they explained how snow is created.
@ Miss W will review the difference between relative cell references and absolute cell references.
A Cell reference- indicates a cell’s location and provides instructions for how cell data is copied and used in calculations. B4 is a cell reference.
A Relative cell reference- CHANGES as the formula is copied.
An Absolute cell reference- REMAINS THE SAME or static when copied to other locations.
Independent Exercise:
Introduction to Relative References Video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wli4L_tECPg
@ Go to the Spreadsheet folder, then the Relative Cell Reference folder, then
Open choco nutties file
@ Create the formula making B2 an absolute cell reference, $B$2.
