Literacy/Vocabulary Strategies (Word Wall)

An entrepreneur is persistent. As an inventor, Edison made 1,000 unsuccessful attempts at inventing the light bulb. When a reporter asked, "How did it feel to fail 1,000 times?" Edison replied, "I didn’t fail 1,000 times. The light bulb was an invention with 1,000 steps."

@ Take your time and read carefully

@ Take your time when answering the survey, the program is going to try to match your answers with an entrepreneur. It will be a more interesting match if you answer the questions carefully.

@ You will be receiving a grade, which will be the average of the 3 module grades.

@ You are not able to go back and look for the answers so you must read and listen to the videos

@ When you are finished with Module 2, work on your entrepreneur biography.

If time:
@ Continue on the famous entrepreneur assignment

If absent:

@ Go to http://www.everfi.com/register

@ Use your real name it will be printed on the certificate

@ Write down your username and password

@ Check the box next to I agree to the terms of service

@ Students will complete the Personal Characteristics and Skills worksheet.

@ Students will check which characteristics and skills they currently possess.
