I can explain the different parts of a spreadsheet and chart.
Test on Friday!
Students are able to explain the different parts of a spreadsheet and chart.


Literacy/Vocabulary Strategies (Word Wall)

Look at how the values (numbers) are aligned to the right margin.
Look at how the labels (words) are aligned to the left margin.
Look at how they used an AVERAGE function.
A function is a built in “short cut” so you don’t have to type so much.

@ Open the Review for Test Spreadsheet Vocabulary file
@ Miss W will review vocabulary words that will be on test.

@ Work on Chart Components Notes Worksheet

@ Go to the Spreadsheet folder, then the Relative Cell Reference folder, then
    Open choco nutties  file
@ Create the formula making B2 an absolute cell reference, $B$2.

Independent Exercise:
@ Students will work by themselves to see if they need to study for Friday’s test.  http://www.quia.com/hm/174125.html?AP_rand=19139139&playHTML=1
@ Students will raise their hands when they are finished.
