Literacy/Vocabulary Strategies (Word Wall)

Movie Maker has a lot of special effects. Create your video first,
before experimenting with different options. Make sure you save!

On page 80, type lines 18 and 20.
We are using our RIGHT RING finger for the ( LEFT PARENTHESIS  key.
We are using our LEFT  PINKY for the Shift Key.

Guided Lesson:

@ Students will open the Step 7 How to Add an Audio Narration PowerPoint in the PowerPoint folder and review delivery tips.
@ You MUST show Miss W. your audio script before you get headphones.
@ Each segment must be no longer than 20 seconds.
@ Each person on team must make an audio clip or you can record taking turns.

Headset WARNING:
No 2nd chances. Do NOT "play" with headset.
Do not throw, play with microphone, etc.
Look below the computer "on" button
Black Cord will go on top with the head set symbol
Red Cord will go on the bottom with the microphone symbol

Follow along with Miss W to add your audio clip
  1. go to the Slide Show tab
  2. choose Record Slide Show
  3. choose Start Recording from Beginning
  4. make sure both boxes are checked
  5. when you are finished go to File then Save AND Send then choose Create a Video
  6. Open a PowerPoint and save to your lunch number
  7. On the title slide- Go to the Insert tab and then insert video
  8. We have now embedded a video into your PowerPoint


Independent Exercise
@ Students will record their audio clips and save to their powerpoint
@ Students will write a script for their video.
