A database is an efficient means of storing and retrieving data and printing report from stored data. This database stores genealogy information and can print reports about individual relatives. Each person would be a record, which is a group of related fields. Fields are one item of information in a record, represented by a column. In this example, date and place are fields.Software[edit]
