Bell-Ringer/Connecting Strategy
We are learning the numeric keypad.
Your  index finger on the 1
Your middle finger on the 2
Your ring finger on the 3
Your ring finger on the . period key.

The daily bellringers will now be practicing the number pad
Choose exercise 2 and then click on the word "start."
Time will not start until you put your cursor
in the white rectangle and start typing.
Record your typing speed and accuracy in your typing file.

Guided Lesson:
@ There will be a test next Tuesday.
@ There will be questions on Typing, Publisher, and Databases
@ The test will not include the new words this week- foreign key or database relationships
@ Each day you will study a different topic and get a class participation grade for completing the worksheets and activities.
@ The questions will be previous questions. You may use your flashcards to study.
@ After the test, you will analyze your weakest topic and will do a project on it.
@ We will discuss the project more next week.

@ Miss W will review the importing data process.

Independent Exercise:
@ Students will import text data into a database.
@ Name your database and table SCHOOLS
@ Name, Ownership, Type, Enrollment, InState, OutofState
    are your field names.
@ Every field is text except InState,  and OutofState they are currency.
@ If you do it correctly you will not need to type dollar signs.
@  If you make a mistake on the field names or type, go to the Design view to correct it.

If time:
@ Students will open their 9 Independent Practice Filtering and Sorting a Database WORD document.
@ Students will open the 9 Independent Practice Filtering and Sorting a Database PowerPoint
@ Students will screen print their answers into the 9 Independent Practice document.
@ Students will save the file to their lunch number.  
@ Miss W will go over problems 8 and 9 from the
@ You NEED to make sure your screen prints are numbered and CLEAR and EASY to read.
@ Crop the images until just the answers show.
