2. Team Candy Challenge- Name the different ways that this PowerPoint is boring
OR Name the different ways it could be better.
Guided Practice

PowerPoint folder/ 3 How to Make Effective Presentations PowerPoint.
4. Using the Design techniques discussed in the PowerPoint
create a 1 slide presentation on "You" Include:
your name, things you like (tv, video games, hobbies, sports)
USE the concepts we learned like contrasting colors, etc.
Narrative Purpose (to broadcast messages, tell a story or entertain) Rubric- It is worth 50 points 2 points off for spelling mistakes 5 points off for contrast mistakes 2 point off if you don't use proper citation for image You are allowed 1 picture the rest of the images are clip art 2 points if you have words smaller than size 24 font.

Using the back of your Ribbon Worksheet, we are going
to fill the blanks for the 10 steps of a presentation.
If time: 10 Presentation Steps: Candy Challenge
Homework:
Students need to decide for which ACADEMIC topic
(Typing Posture/Technique, Language Arts, Science,
Social Studies, or Math) they will create a
PowerPoint presentation soon. We will be using the
PowerPoint you create to learn different old and new
features of PowerPoint 2010.
